Carpentry is at the heart of everything we build
Every deck, kitchen, and basement comes down to carpentry. Since 2002, owner Matt Unklesbay has brought a meticulous, creative eye to his work — square framing, tight joints, and finish details that hold up to a close look. We also take on carpentry projects on their own, inside and outside the home.
Finish carpentry
Finish carpentry is the work you see and touch every day: baseboard, door casing, and other trim; interior doors; and built-ins like shelving, benches, and storage. Good finish work comes down to precision — tight miters, consistent reveals, and clean lines that make a room feel complete.
General carpentry and framing
Behind the finishes is the structure. We frame walls for remodels and basement finishing, and we build stairs and railings both indoors and out. Whether it's a new set of deck stairs, a sturdier stair railing, or framing for a remodel, we build it square, solid, and to code.
Small projects welcome
Not every job is a full remodel. If you have a list of carpentry projects — new trim, a few doors, a built-in, or a railing that needs replacing — we're happy to take a look. Every project gets our full attention, no matter the size.
